The practice of reflexology has been used for centuries worldwide to support the health and wellbeing of the body.

It goes without saying that we are surrounded on a daily basis by external and internal factors which affect our health and well being. Our physical environment, what we eat,  work pressure, stress, relationships, low self esteem are just some of the components which collectively have a harmful effect On the body. The word ‘dis-ease’ reflects in itself that the body is not functioning as it should.

When the body is in a state of equilibrium or balance it is more likely to ‘heal itself and fight off disease more effectively.

The theory of reflexology is that by massaging and applying pressure to the nerve endings in the feet, messages are sent to the rest of the body to address imbalance and improve the body’s natural healing defenses.

As a trained reflexologist I do not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe. Reflexology is a very individual treatment which is tailored to the whole person, taking into account both physical and non-physical factors that might be affecting their wellbeing. Benefits may include stress reduction,Improved sleep, better circulation, hormonal balance.
